Top Google Searches 2008

Google Search has released it top trends for 2008. These are the words that got searched on Google much more than the year before that. The top 10 Google searches for 2008 are:

1. Obama
2. Facebook
3. Att
4. iPhone
5. YouTube
6. Fox news
7. Palin
8. Beijing 2008
9. David Cook
10. Surf the channel

Obama is an obvious search on this list given the hype that surrounded the elections. Facebook has obviously become a huge destination site and this Navigational Search Query will probably be at this list again next year. ATT and iPhone are the huge gizmos providers for the year and should be part of the 2009 list also.

Palin, Beijing and David Cook will probably not be in the 2009 list and were keywords of 2008 only.
